Sip and celebrate! Come have Mother’s Day Tea on the Edna G along with treats and hot chocolate too!
Please read all the information below and then on the click on the calendar to select an availabletea time and make your reservation.[
The Edna G will be decked out in decorations and beautiful lights for Mother’s Day. This is not your normal Mother’s Day Tea–this is Tea on an antique tugboat experiencing the rocks and rolls on the waters of Lake Superior. If there are large waves on the great lake during your tea time, you will definitely know! If the water is calm, you may see a mirrored reflection of the lighthouse across the Bay, stars sparkling on the water, or snow disappearing into your Mother’s Day Tea.
There is a $50 donation for adults and $25 for children 10 and under. Limit of 4 people per one-hour tea with some exceptions. Online reservations are required.
Mother’s Day Teas will take place Saturday, and Sunday on Mother’s Day weekend.
Saturday times: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm.
Sunday Times: 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm.
Note: You may arrive up to 15 minutes early to get settled in.
Terms and Conditions:
1) The Tugboat Edna G is 126 years old and is not ADA-compliant. It is exempt due to its place on the National Register of Historic Places. The dock has an open metal grate walkway, and a gangway to get onto the boat. There is a set of stairs to the deck which is both slanted and uneven. We recommend flat shoes and boots are best for your trip onto the Edna G.
2) Friends of the Edna G, the city of Two Harbors, The CN Railroad, individuals working on the event, and our sponsors will not be held responsible for accidents of any kind that happen while walking to, being onboard the Edna G, or participating in the event.
3) Mother’s Day Tea on the Edna G is a non-profit 501(c)3 fundraising event. There will be no refunds if you cancel your reservation. If your reservation is canceled by us due to a blizzard, a storm on the lake, or other weather events, we will refund your donation if requested.
